His role...
Richard is the designated person for the Hertfordshire FA who deals with all welfare issues in the County.
Richard liaises with FA Case Management in abuse cases and deals with statutory agencies locally on behalf of the FA as well as being the contact for Club Welfare Officers for advice on issues within their clubs.
Richard organises FA Safeguarding Children Workshops for the County as well as tutoring some of them and in addition he is the lead person for CRB within the County and trains the verifiers.

Being at Old Trafford in 1978 to see Luther Blissett score 2 goals against Man Utd as Watford won 2-1 as a third division side. Refereeing a staff game at Vicarage Road in May 2010.
