Charter Standard Schools

Charter Standard SchoolsThe Football Association and the partners working closely in devising FA Charter Standard Schools, are aware of outstanding practice in the provision of football and have therefore laid down minimum criteria in order to access FA Charter Standard School status.

The FA Charter Standard Schools scheme recognises and rewards schools who provide a quality football programme. In the future it will help raise standards in all schools by exchanging good practice and targeting areas requiring support. The aim of the scheme is to raise standards in physical education and football by encouraging and supporting schools to become FA Charter Standard Schools.
