In conjunction with our extensive Coach Education programme we plan to support those involved in football activities in Hertfordshire with new ideas, the sharing of knowledge and to develop a network of coaches to benefit the game both at a youth and adult level.

Coaches Week at Herts Sports Village
• Monday 21st February – Age Appropriate courses – theory and practical session looks at the Modules 1, 2 and 3 – 10am til 1pm with Ben Bartlett
• Tuesday 22nd February – Legendary Coaches seminar - Arsene Wenger 7pm til 9.30pm with David Turner
• Thursday 24th Feb – Coaching Disabled Footballers course, 9am til 3pm
• Friday 25th Feb – Introduction to FUTSAL course, 9am til 4pm

Who is it for?
The HFACA is open to any person over the age of 16 who feels that they may benefit from attending these meetings and sessions.
Membership
There are 2 types of Memberships, as an individual coach or through your Charter Standard club. (forms to the right)
Download the appropriate form, complete and return to Herts FA. Membership is open to any person over the age of 16, ideally they should hold a coaching qualification or be booked onto the FA Level 1 course. For the individual membership we require 2 passport photos.
New members are welcome
Cost
Annual cost of membership is £15 for individual members
Charter Standard clubs £30 per season Development and Community clubs £50 per season includes all coaches in that club.
Cheques are to be made out to Herts FA Ltd
Non-members are able to attend, usually for a charge of £7 per event
What is the format of the meetings?
Most events involve a mixture of practical and theory work and previous sessions have included:

• Colin Reid:- Attacking In The Final Third & Level 3 Phases Of Play
• Frank O’Brien:- Coaching Methods throughout Europe
Frequency
Events are held between 4-5 times a year
Venue
The majority of events are held at either The County Ground (Letchworth) or Hertfordshire Sports Village (Hatfield), although we are keen to move around the County in order to reduce travel costs for members
