As is common in both the eleven-a-side & 'traditional' 5-a-side game, Futsal also needs referees in order to thrive.
This is certainly the case within Hertfordshire and the County FA are working on a variety of course for exisiting referees and also anyone wishing to referee futsal without having to qualify as a football official first.
Roy Williams is the Futsal Referee Training Officer and will be working with Joe Goude in order to recruit more qualified referees for the County.

The course is a 6 hours module spread over 2 evenings and is both a practical and theoretical based course.
