Hertfordshire FA - developing football for everyone
Development

Women and Girls

Our game continues to be the biggest team sport for females in this Country and the future health of the women's game at every level depends on the development of young players and encouraging their involvement and enjoyment of football.

One key aspect of this development is the movement of young players from school activities to quality FA Charter Standard clubs. The aim of the Hertfordshire FA County Strategy is to increase, retain and develop players and raise the standards of coaches and volunteers in the female game.

The game continues to grow in England after the success of the Women's World Cup in 2007 and the European Championships in 2009, there has never been a better time to get involved in women & girls football in Hertfordshire with the opportunities that are readily available to you.

Louisa Suff is the Football Development Officer (Women & Girls) for Hertfordshire.
