One key aspect of this development is the movement of young players from school activities to quality FA Charter Standard clubs. The aim of the Hertfordshire Girls Football Plan is to enthuse, retain and develop players, coaches and volunteers no matter where they come from and regardless of their ability.
The game continues to grow after the success of the Women's World Cup in 2007 with over 1.9m tuning in for the quarter final against USA, there has never been a better time to get involved in women & girls football in Hertfordshire.
