The programme is targeted at girls aged 5-16years and is either a 6-8 week Girls Football Coaching Course designed by The FA, to encourage progression from school football into local Charter Standard Clubs.
The coaching course runs for 6-8 weeks and is held in conjunction with schools and clubs in the School Sports Partnership areas.
3 Lions FC programme offers regular football coaching to players irrespective of ability with the emphasis on learning new skills and having fun.
The course aims to:
- Establish links between schools and clubs and coaching support for players/staff.
- Provide clubs with an intake of new players.
- Provide equipment & promotional resource packages to all clubs/schools hosting courses.
- Give players the opportunity to play in a fun, friendly and safe environment throughout the duration of the course and then the opportunity to progress to playing regularly as part of a charter standard club.
