
All Referees wishing to be considered for promotion must convey their request in writing to the Assesors Organiser by 1st March of the promotion season.

All promotion candidates will be expected to meet the following criteria for Level 7 to 6:-
- To attend a continuation training evening and complete the written exam
- To keep the County Assessor’s Co-ordinator informed of all their fixtures
- To Referee a minimum of 20 games in adult football during the promotion season
- Respond in writing to all correspondence
- Receive a minimum of four assessments during the promotion season
For promotion from Level 6 to Level 5 the Referee must:-
- To attend a continuation training evening and complete the written exam
- Have completed five games as an Assistant Referee (in the current season)
- Receive a minimum of six assesments during the promotion assesments
- And all the above
For Eligibility to Level 4 the Referee must:-
- Have all the above criteria
- Have passed a fitness test
