Personal Hearing Procedure
Please introduce yourself to the Receptionist who will establish:
1) In the case of a Youth Player charged establish who is coming in with the Player as" guardian" i.e. Parent, Club Rep-Relation.
2) In the case of a Youth Referee establish who is coming in with the Referee as "guardian" i.e. Parent, fellow Member or Relation.
3) Establish who is representing the player whether it be the Club Rep or player himself
The Hearing:
The Chairman will introduce himself and the panel and give a brief explanation of the hearing procedure.
The Referee’s report will be read by the Secretary.
Match Officials confirm their reports are accurate and correct.
Participant presents their case and questions will the be asked to the Player/Club by the Commission.
If there are assistant referee’s reports these will be read out and questions will be asked to the Player/Club by the Commission.
The Witness(s) statements will be read and the each witness(s) will be asked to enter separately. The commission will ask the witness(s) questions. Each witness will stay in the room but will not partake further.
Player/Clubs concluding comments and any final questions from the Commission.
The Referee then leaves
The Player/Club then leaves the room and awaits the decision of the commission
The Player and Club rep then asked to go back into the room where the commission give the result.
If the case is not proven the player/club can leave and the hearing is over.
If the case is proven the Player/Club care given the opportunity to submit their mitigation. The player’s disciplinary record from the previous five years is taken into consideration.
The Player/Club must then leave the room whilst the commission decide what level of punishment is appropriate.
The Player and Club re enter the room where the decision is given, this will then be confirmed in writing.
