All Clubs, Leagues and Referees that affiliate to the Hertfordshire FA need to take out Public Liability Insurance with us. If you are a Referee or Club then you must take out the insurance that is offered to you, however if your a league and have insurance policy elsewhere this needs to be provided to us before affiliation begins.
All clubs affiliated to the Hertfordshire Football Association in Categories A,B and C are required to have Public Liability Insurance Cover. All affiliated leagues in which these clubs compete are advised also to have this Public Liability Cover.
The Association has negotiated a policy which runs from 1st July to the following 30th June and details are available at the Association Office. The Premium is charged annually and is payable with the affiliation fee.
Referees affiliated to the Association are also covered for Public Liability Insurance and this is included in their registration fee.
The Hertfordshire Football Association does not provide personal accident or injury insurance for players, clubs or leagues. This is the responsibility of the individuals, club or league committees affiliated to this Association.
