Bedwell Rangers Girls U16 are through to play in the UK National Finals on Sunday 18th May after becoming the English Champions at the weekend.
Hertfordshire Girls U16 County Cup Winners Bedwell Rangers are through to the UK National Finals after winning in the English Final held at Leicester City FC at the weekend. They beat Manchester United Ladies one nil in the Semi Final and went on to beat St Nicholas Youth from Gloucestershire two nil in the Final to be Champions of England.
Peter Shilton was on hand to award the medals to Bedwell Rangers at the end of the tournament with Becky Day given a personal award for player of the tournament.
Bedwell will now travel to Manchester City FC on Sunday 18th May to play in the National Final against Scotland and Wales, what ever the outcome though it is a remarkable achievement for the club/team and the Hertfordshire FA would like to congratulate the team and wish them the best for the Finals.
