For season 2010-11 all youth football clubs are required to have a Club Welfare Officer who has an accepted CRB check, attended the FA Safeguarding Children Workshop and the Welfare Officer Workshop.
The Hertfordshire FA will put on a series of Welfare Officer Workshops up to the affiliation date in order to help clubs comply with this requirement.
Current Welfare Officer Workshops in the programme are:
Sunday 22nd November 2009 Herts Sports Village Hatfield 5.30pm - 8.30pm
Friday 28th May 2010 County Ground 7.00pm - 10.00 pm
Clubs are urged to attend these workshops early as failure to comply could result in clubs not being entered into the county cups and possibly suspended for the start of the season.
