The Hertfordshire Football Association is seeking nominations for the 2010 Groundsman of the Year Awards.
For these celebrated Awards all football clubs at Step 7 and below are invited to nominate their groundsman as the Hertfordshire FA Groundsman of the Year.
The first placed club will undergo independent judging along with other regional based Leagues.
In Hertfordshire a winner will be announced at the 2010 County FA Awards with the 3 nominees being put forward for the national award.
Last year’s Step 7 and below winner was Malcolm Gardner of British Airways FC, who was put forward by Middlesex FA. Malcolm joined the successful Premier League and Football League groundsman at a national awards ceremony held at Windsor Racecourse, collecting his award from hosts Mark Lawrenson and Ray Stubbs.
The closing date for nominations to Hertfordshire FA is Friday 5th February 2010.

Please note that nominations should only be considered where the groundsman is a member of the club. Therefore, clubs cannot be included where the pitch is maintained by an external contractor or maintainence company.
