Welwyn Garden City Ladies Youth are looking to expand their team and workforce portfolio.
A Charter Standard Club, WGCLY currently boasts a volunteer workforce of the following:
- Chairman
- Vice Chairman
- Treasurer, Secretary
- Charter Standard Officer
- 1 Child Welfare Officers
- 3 Level 7 Referees
- 5 Female Coaches
- 4 Male Coaches
- all of which have a minimum the following qualifications:
- Level 1 Coaching qualification
- First Aid qualification
- Enhanced Discloser Certificate.
Our vision is to provide community links with all schools in the area to enable girl’s, no matter of their ability, to enjoy & reach their full potential within the sport.
We also encourage parents/carers/volunteer participation within the sport whether it be in the form of a team manager/coach, club committee member or occasionally help at events and raising funds for the club.
All volunteers will be required to have or complete an FA Enhanced Disclosure Check.
All Manager/Coaches will require a minimum of a Level 1 football qualification. The club will assist volunteers in obtaining this qualification.
