Workforce Push In Welwyn

Welwyn Garden City Ladies Youth are looking to expand their team and workforce portfolio.

A Charter Standard Club, WGCLY currently boasts a volunteer workforce of the following:

  • Chairman
  • Vice Chairman
  • Treasurer, Secretary
  • Charter Standard Officer
  • 1 Child Welfare Officers
  • 3 Level 7 Referees
  • 5 Female Coaches
  • 4 Male Coaches
  • all of which have a minimum the following qualifications:
  • Level 1 Coaching qualification
  • First Aid qualification
  • Enhanced Discloser Certificate.
Our vision is to provide community links with all schools in the area to enable girl’s, no matter of their ability, to enjoy & reach their full potential within the sport.

We also encourage parents/carers/volunteer participation within the sport whether it be in the form of a team manager/coach, club committee member or occasionally help at events and raising funds for the club.

All volunteers will be required to have or complete an FA Enhanced Disclosure Check.

All Manager/Coaches will require a minimum of a Level 1 football qualification. The club will assist volunteers in obtaining this qualification.
