KitAid Update

KitAid recycles once loved football kit and distributes to underprivileged children and adults in some of the world's poorest countries.

If you have unwanted kit, shirts, shorts or boots, please donate them to KitAid. You only have to see the faces of the people receiving the donated kit to know the impact KitAid are having.

We often forget how lucky we are in the country and Hertfordshire FA encourages all players & clubs to donate any old kit and equipment to KitAid so that it can be reused by football communities around the world!

Founder of KitAid, Derrick Williams MBE, works hard to promote the charity’s work and recently shared this short video of teenagers in Malawi after they had received kits from KitAid.

When sharing the video, Derrick wrote:

"To me this clip is all about why we do what we do in our own way for KitAid. It really does sum up what getting a kit means to so many. Both of the teams here received our kit via the charity FOMO from Preston and the team in the Liverpool kit won the game 5 - 1, but the result didn't really matter...Just how it should be."
