Women celebrate during a casual football session

Women's Get Back Into Football Sessions

New social sessions on Wednesday evenings in Hemel Hempstead to encourage women to start playing again

Hertfordshire Football Association is pleased to be joining up with Watford CSE Trust to deliver a new women’s ‘Get Back Into Football’ session on Wednesday evenings

This is aimed at women over the age of 16 who would like to play in a social session, where the emphasis is on enjoyment. It will be ideal for anyone who played football years ago and want to start again, or those who’ve recently taken an interest in football and want to try it themselves.

Sessions will be delivered by Laura Dyer, Women and Girls Officer at Watford FC CSE Trust, who is an experienced coach. Although these sessions will be coach led, all levels of experience and ability are welcome and Laura will tailor the sessions according the group’s needs.

We are excited to be able to make use of some fantastic new facilities, with the sessions being held on the recently opened 3G astroturf pitch at Hemel Hempstead School.

Sessions take place Wednesdays from 7-8pm starting 20th June and cost just £3

These are open sessions with a flexible approach, so there is no commitment to attend every week or need to sign up as part of a team. Just come along and have fun!

While pre-booking is not necessary, please be aware that numbers for these sessions are limited and that to secure your place you should contact us in advance.
