The Football Association Cup - 4th Qualifying Round

Huge weekend for Hertfordshire Football

Hitchin Town, Hemel Hempstead Town and Borehamwood are all in FA Cup action

A collosal weekend of football is lined up for Hertfordshire, as three of the counties biggest clubs prepare for, what could be, a historic weekend.

On Saturday afternoon, Borehamwood, Hemel Hempstead Town and Hitchin Town are all in a bid to reach the FA Cup First Round Proper.

National League side, Borehamwood, take on Dagenham & Redbridge at Meadow Park (you can buy tickets for that clash here), whilst neighbours Hemel Hempstead Town host Oxford City at Vauxhall Road, both 3pm kick-off's.

However, arguably the most anticipated tie will take place in north Hertfordshire, when Leatherhead make the trip down the m25 to Hitchin Town's Top Field. The Step 3 side host Leatherhead in a game that could catapult them to The FA Cup's First Round Proper for the first time in 23 years, since the 1995/96 campaign.

Hitchin expect a bumber crowd on Saturday, so if you want to secure your tickets to take in all the action for yourself, visit their club webiste here. Tickets are discounted if you buy online until 8pm tonight.

Good luck to all teams flying the Hertfordshire flag in the world biggest domestic cup competition!
