Hertfordshire FA is looking for a number of casual Facilities Assistants to join our team supporting the operation of our newly upgraded Community Football Centre
This is an exciting time at Hertfordshire FA with the recent redevelopment of our headquarters in Letchworth. The opening of our new artificial pitch and Community Football Centre expand the business in exciting new ways and we are looking for support to help us maximise this opportunity.
These roles report to the Community Football Centre Managers and are based at The County Ground in Letchworth. They focus on delivering positive customer engagement by supporting the successful, safe and cost-effective operation of all aspects of the facility.
The role of the Facilities Assistants will include:
• General administration and reception duties
• Assisting staff with cleaning in and around the building, to ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are achieved
• Assisting with preparing and serving food
• Assisting with serving alcohol and snacks
• Setting up meeting rooms and football pitches in preparation for bookings
Ideally we are looking for candidates with experience of all of the above, but full training will be provided. Successful applicants will possess an enthusiasm for customer excellence and drive for maximising the opportunities for using the facility.
It is also important to have a good understanding of working front of house with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service and facility compliance, with a desire to generate and maintain new users by creating a welcoming and professional environment.
