Our scheme to support the retention and growth of adult male teams is back

We are pleased to announce the return of our funding scheme aimed at supporting the retention and growth of adult male teams. In 2019 the Hertfordshire FA Extra Time Fund helped 18 clubs to continue offering playing opportunities and it’s back again for 2020.

The Extra Time Fund offers up to £500 for clubs who can demonstrate their existing team is at risk of folding for financial reasons.

Clubs who benefitted from the funding last year were able to use it for matchday and training facility hire, first-aid training and new equipment, whilst also subsidising matchday fees for members of their respective squads.

We would also like to support adult male clubs in the growth of a second adult male team. Clubs will be able to use Extra Time Fund to set up new teams, which must be affiliated during the 2020/21 season.
