Referee CPD Event

New Referee CPD Event

Introducing our first online development evening for Hertfordshire Referees

Our first online Continuous Professional Development (CPD) evening for Referees

Thank you to all those who attended on Wednesday 25th November, taking the opportunity to hear from some experienced speakers with valuable insights relating to Refereeing in general and specifically within Hertfordshire.

With over 90 referees from a variety of different levels of football taking part it was a resounding success and something we look forward to continuing in future, with another event scheduled for early February 2021.

Steve Maker, Head of Football Development and Investment at Hertfordshire FA said “I was delighted with the response to our first online CPD evening for Referees. In these challenging times it was fantastic to be able to bring so many of the county's match officials together in this way."

"This is the start of a programme of work to support Referees across Hertfordshire through the coming seasons. As we learn through delivering each event I am sure those who attend will continue to see the benefit from the time they are committing to their professional development."

"Many thanks to Farai and Russell for their fantastic contributions on the evening. For those looking for a taste of what was covered, the slides from their presentations are available to download, along with details from the Q&A session and some useful links that were discussed."
