Hertfordshire FA partnership with Sport Integrity Matters

Sport Integrity Matters

New partnership changes the way Misconduct cases are investigated

We are always looking for ways to improve the quality and efficiency of our services and are pleased to confirm details of a new partnership

We are pleased to announce an innovative partnership between ourselves and a new company called Sport Integrity Matters, founded by former FA Head of Judicial Services, Mark Ives, who will act as Independent Advisors to Hertfordshire FA.

Under this arrangement Sport Integrity Matters will investigate all allegations of misconduct in relation to Hertfordshire FA affiliated clubs and process the charge documentation via Whole Game System. They have the same duty and powers as the County FA and are employed on our behalf.

Clubs and match officials may therefore be contacted by Stewart Jeeves or Mark Ives, Directors from Sport Integrity Matters, to assist with a disciplinary investigation. In such cases you should respond in the same way as you would to a member of our staff.

Please ensure that you support Stewart and Mark, should you be required to provide them with any information when acting on our behalf.

What about other aspects of Football Services?

These changes formed part of a wider review of our operations as we look to find new ways to effectively deliver services, while adapting to the financial challenges arising across the game as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.

As detailed in our recent Workforce Update, a number of our staff have seen changes to their areas of work. In the Football Services team, Joe Karram has commenced a new role in Football Services Administration and Technology Support.

This position primarily focuses on technology support in relation to Player Registration, The FA’s Full Time system and the Matchday app, but also incorporates the administration of cautions, red cards and disciplinary payments.

Joe will remain to assist with discipline queries and club affiliation and his new working hours are Monday to Thursday 09:00-14:00 and Friday 12:00-17:00.

Thank you for your support

We would like to thank you for your patience and support through this difficult period. These changes will allow us to be more efficient in dealing with disciplinary matters and technology queries going forward, delivering an improved level of service.

If you have any questions, in relation to the above, please feel free to contact Lauren Halsey, Head of Football Services
