There are two Charity Competitions within the County and are by invitation only. The way that it works at the moment is eight teams at step 3 and step 4 levels of The FA pyramid system takes part in the Charity Cup, and the Charity Shield has 16 clubs at step 5 and step 6.
The first match is always to be played before the start of their league season which will usually take place in July/August. The Competition started back in 1900/1901 with Cheshunt FC bring the first winners of the Cup.
Note. The winners of The Charity Cup 2006/2007 were Potters Bar Town, there is a computer error which will not allow us to change the winners. Sorry for the Inconvenience this may cause.
