Biggest Ever Football Session is Back
On Wednesday 8th March 2024, the Biggest EVER Football Session is back and this is your official invite to get your school involved!
After an incredible summer that saw England's Lionesses follow their Euros win with a run to the World Cup final, what better time to #LetGirlsPlay. Whether you are already delivering girls’ football in your school or want to take that first step to give girls’ equal access, this is an event not to be missed.
What does the day look like?
At lunchtime, in a lesson or after school - you decide! Our aim? To get as many girls as possible in school all playing football on the same day! Whether you want to use iconic Lionesses moments like Alessia Russo’s amazing back-heel or Ella Toone's lob as inspiration - or fancy giving the free resources a try - it’s up to you.
All we ask is that you register your school so we can see how many girls are taking part and shout about it across social media using #LetGirlsPlay.
What is #LetGirlsPlay?
By 2024, The FA’s goal is for girls to have the same football opportunities as boys in schools and clubs. #LetGirlsPlay is a campaign to influence and drive change, showing that football can and should be played by girls.
It is bringing together a growing community of people who want to champion equal access for girls, helping create independent, resilient young girls who will be a force for good in all local communities.
