Football is our national game, with millions of people enjoying playing football at every level across the country. The provision of football is reliant on volunteers that set up and run clubs for people to play for.

If you are looking to set up a new club, or looking for some information about a matter regarding the running of your club then help is at hand.

Hertfordshire County FA is committed to raising the standards of grassroots football in England to encourage more people to get involved not only in playing, but to also help develop people's skills in all aspects of the game and encourage the right environment for all.

From mini-soccer clubs that provide a platform that supports the development and enjoyment of our very youngest players, to the adult game which spans across small-sided football, amateur, semi pro and of course the professional game.

Grassroots football in Hertfordshire will thrive because of several influencing factors but our clubs and those individuals who are dedicated & committed to help running them are the heartbeat of a successful grassroots game.

Irrespective of whether you are seeking to set up a club for the first time or would like guidance and assistance in how to develop your club, Hertfordshire FA is on hand to help. We can provide this service via our Football Development Team which is made up of experienced officers that specialise in every aspect of club development support.
