Easy Fundraising For Your Club

No cost, no catch – raise free donations every time you shop online.

We’ve teamed up with easyfundraising, to give local football clubs and teams access to an unlimited source of free funding: raise funds simply by shopping online.

Easyfundraising is the UK’s biggest retail fundraising platform connecting over 1 million supporters with 100,000 good causes, including over 14,000 sports causes who have raised over £2.4m between them.

A donation is collected every time people connected with the club or team shop online, for everything from fashion and groceries to hotels and insurance.

This is a completely free and highly effective way for a club to raise money which they can invest in coaching programmes, facilities, kit and travel.

It’s really simple to get started. All you have to do is:

1. Visit the Hertfordshire FA Easyfundraising page

2. Sign up for free

3. Get shopping – your donations will be collected by easyfundraising and automatically sent to your club. It couldn’t be easier!

Hertfordshire FA Chief Executive Officer, Vicki Askew, said:

“We are delighted to announce a partnership with easyfundraising.org.uk. What is wonderful about easyfundraising is that it is absolutely free to use and it provides the football community across Hertfordshire a very quick and simple way to raise funds.

“All grassroots clubs should sign up to this and get supporters on board, with Christmas shopping gathering pace, at this time of year especially, the pennies donated from each online purchase soon turn into pounds.”

Organisations in Hertfordshire can join the thousands of causes across the UK which have benefitted from more than £5 million in donations raised through easyfundraising already, with more than half a million supporters signed up to the site.

The cash has been raised since the Staffordshire based company launched eight years ago in 2005. Supporters shop through the site to earn cash donations from retailers for their cause.

The company was set up by Ian Woodroffe, a former telecoms account manager, who, while recovering from cancer, wanted to use the boom in internet shopping to help cash strapped charities generate much needed funds.

“I am delighted Hertfordshire FA has signed up to easyfundraising. We wish them the best of luck in reaching their fundraising target,” he said.
