New HERTS6s Summer League

Kicking off on 25th July - there’s never been a better time to get into the small sided game

Hertfordshire FA are delighted to announce the start of a new HERTS6s Summer League which will kick off on Wednesday 25th July

With the existing HERTS6s leagues across the county already proving to be very popular, we are sure this summer version will be a big hit.

This 6-a-side league will be held every Wednesday evening 7pm to 9pm at Hemel Hempstead School until the end of August, with everything organised through trained league co-ordinators.

Matches are 36 minutes in length, with a 2 minute half time break and are officiated by an FA registered referee. The match fee is £27 per team, per game (works out to just £3 per player for a squad of 9).

Why play small sided football?

Small sided football is the most popular and fastest growing area of adult football - there are nearly 30,000 small sided teams playing across the country.

Our HERTS6s leagues are perfect for those who want to keep playing but are unable to commit to a regular 11-aside season due to work or other commitments.

So whether you want a great way of getting an ‘after work’ run-out with your mates, or you just like the idea of playing fast and competitive midweek football...the small sided game is perfect choice.
