Nominate your Grassroots heroes!
We will once again be celebrating the people, clubs and leagues who make a positive difference across our communities with the launch of the 2019 Grassroots Football Awards
This is our chance to celebrate work that goes into the grassroots game - and say a big thank you to the incredible volunteers who inspire us to make the football better For All.
Nominations are open now and run until 10 May 2019, so take the opportunity to tell us all about the great work being done across Hertfordshire so we can celebrate the grassroots heroes that do so much to make the game great.
Anyone can make a nomination although individuals should be nominated by someone else rather than themselves (feel free to nominate your own club or league).
The awards are split into 10 categories
- Grassroots Coach of the Year
- Grassroots Supporter of the Year
- Grounds Team of the Year
- Grassroots Club of the Year
- Volunteer of the Year

NOMINATE YOUR GRASSROOTS HEROES
The categories for this year’s awards are chosen to reflect the diversity of our football communities and the positive impact of football.
The FA’s values, Progressive, Respectful, Inclusive, Determined, and Excellent, are the backbone of The FA and McDonald’s Grassroots Football Awards. We’re looking for people who make these values part of clubs, leagues and local communities.
Winners will be judged more on quality than quantity, so when making a nomination think about how you can show evidence of the difference they make and the impact it has on those around them.
