Referee Promotions Announced

Congratulations to the Hertfordshire match officials who have progressed to a higher level

We are delighted to announce details of the referees who have achieved promotion ahead of the 2021-22 season

Referees in the promotion scheme for the 2020/21 season were recently informed if they had been successful in their efforts to attain a higher level and we would like to congratulate them all on their achievement.

Hertfordshire FA Head of Football Development Steve Maker said “These promoted officials should be really proud of their efforts. This has been one of the most challenging seasons with Covid-19 and these officials like many others have continued to train, develop and deliver high standards which has resulted in them receiving promotion. We wish them all the very best for next season”.

Russell Jones, Hertfordshire FA Observer Organiser added “These are a group of talented referees that have officiated across grassroots football in Hertfordshire over the last 12 months. These have been challenging and uncertain times for us all but their hard work has paid off. It has been a pleasure working with them all on their journey and look forward to seeing many of them progress on the Referee pathway.”

“I would also like to thank everyone involved in supporting our referees in reaching this stage, including the observers who go out week in week out, to help develop these referees and provide essential feedback. Well done all”.
