England Football Accreditation

England Football Accreditation

Safer, stronger, more effective and more enjoyable places to play and enjoy football

England Football Accreditation is the new way to recognise Leagues and Clubs that raise the bar and lead by example for football in England

We are extremely proud to have so many quality Leagues and Clubs in Hertfordshire who are committed to creating the best places to play and enjoy the game.

However, following national consultation with people in the game it’s clear that after 20 years, the accreditation framework for recognising their efforts needs to change.

England Football Accreditation is how we’re going to create more chances for more players

England Football Accredited Leagues and England Football Accredited Clubs set the standards, raise the bar and fly the flag of respect and diversity for football in England. They will lead the game by example, as safer, stronger, more effective and more enjoyable places to play and enjoy football.

Being Accredited helps you attract players, coaches, and volunteers - with tailored support to build the strong, sustainable, successful league or club you want to be.

When you’re Accredited you’re not just part of it, you’re the beating heart of it

With your ambition and our support, you can become the best version of yourself whilst sitting at the heart of your football community.

  • We will help you to grow to be what you want to be
  • We will help you create a place for everyone to play and enjoy the game
  • We will help you make a place that can last
  • And give you tailored support that’s relevant to you

At Hertfordshire FA we’re excited to be on this journey with you. Ready to support your transition onto the new England Football Accredited Framework and support you to become the League or Club you want to be.

All existing FA Charter Standard Leagues and Clubs will automatically become England Football Accredited and over the coming months we will work collaboratively to prepare you for the opportunities ahead.

As we transition onto a new accredited framework for both Leagues and Clubs we will be keeping you updated along the way. This is a transition that will take place over the coming months as we build towards the 2021/22 season.
