Hertfordshire FA Shortlisted for Award
Hertfordshire FA have been shortlisted in the Insight and Data category at the 2022 County FA Recognition Awards for our work supporting disability football in the county
The Awards, which will be announced at Wembley Stadium connected by EE on Thursday 15 September 2022, recognise and endorse the best projects, products and services delivered by County FAs over the past two seasons while sharing best practice and learnings from around the country.
A record breaking 235 submissions have been entered from the 50 County FAs operating across England, highlighting continuous improvements and showcasing how they are innovating to improve grassroots football and increase participation across all levels of the game.
The eleven categories which will be recognised at the awards were:

• Equality, Diversity & Inclusion
• Football Development
• Insight & Data
• Partnership
• Special recognition
• Women & Girls
• Youth Engagement
Hertfordshire FA has made the final shortlist for the Insight and Data Award for our work in identifying opportunities to grow disability football in our county and supporting these with funding and other assistance to successfully increase participation.
Karl Lingham, Hertfordshire FA CEO, said:
"We are delighted to have been shortlisted for this Award which is fantastic recognition for our team’s efforts in this area. When you think of all the excellent work going on across all 50 counties and the number of entries this year, it’s an impressive achievement to be one of the finalists.”
