It’s time to take a stand, to make a difference for girls to play football, with one simple message #LetGirlsPlay
On Wednesday 9th March 2022, England Football and Barclays are putting on the Biggest Ever Football Session for girls in school and we need your help!
The aim? To get as many girls as possible in school all playing football on the same day!
Whether your school is already delivering girls’ football or want to take that first step to give girls’ equal access, the chance to be part of the #LetGirlsPlay Biggest Ever Football Session is not to be missed.
What does the day look like?
At lunchtime, in a lesson or after school – you decide! Schools can use their own session plans or take inspiration from our free resources.
All we ask is that you capture your session and shout about it across social media using #LetGirlsPlay and #GirlsFootballinSchools.
How can my school get involved?
It’s simple. You can register by providing details of your school. Then all you need to do is get everyone excited that you’re taking part in the biggest EVER football session!
What is #LetGirlsPlay?
By 2024, The FA’s and Barclays ambition is for girls to have the same football opportunities as boys in schools and clubs. #LetGirlsPlay is a campaign to drive influence and change perceptions, showing that football can and should be played by girls.
It is bringing together a growing community of people of all genders, ages and backgrounds who want to champion equal access for girls, helping create independent, resilient young girls who will be a force for good in all local communities.
