Celebrating International Women’s Day 2022

Event shines a light on some of the inspirational women working in football in Hertfordshire

We’re celebrating International Women’s Day 2022 with a special evening featuring inspirational guest speakers from across Hertfordshire football

As part of our #SeeItBeIt campaign and to celebrate International Women's Day 2022, Hertfordshire FA are hosting a special event to shine a light on women working across football in a variety of roles.

Taking place on Monday 7th March 2022 at 19:00, at the Thomas Parmiter Sports Centre in Watford, it’s a fantastic opportunity for women and girls to:

  • Listen to our inspirational guests' journeys in football
  • Find out how they made a career in the game we love
  • Hear about how they continue to break down barriers
  • Discover their ambitions and how they plan to reach their next goal

In small groups, you'll have the chance to hear from each guest, before coming together for a whole group Q&A session. The event also provides a great opportunity for you to network with other local inspiring females!

Our guest speakers on the evening include:

Sian Williams
