Maximise the Euros This Summer
With England hosting this year’s biggest female sporting event, there are some awesome opportunities for football clubs this summer
The countdown to UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 is well underway, so it's the perfect time to get more women and girls playing. We’re encouraging clubs across Hertfordshire to deliver football taster sessions for women or girls throughout the month of July.
All you need to do is create your sessions on the The FA's Events Platform so that they’re discoverable through the online Find Football tool.
That way as the excitement around the tournament builds it will be easy for you to make the most of this amazing opportunity to grow your club. Get yourself involved and join us in our ambition to #LetGirlsPlay this summer!
It's straightforward to add your sessions and get involved, but should you have questions, this downloadable guidance document has more information. Once you are ready follow the link below and click on 'Host a Football Taster Session'.
What should sessions look like?
During the week, at the weekend, morning, or evening – you decide! The aim? To celebrate the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 and give women and girls the opportunity to get involved with football in their local community – any age, any ability.
Whether you want to use one of your own session plans or want a bit of inspiration from our free resources – it’s up to you. All we ask is that you add your sessions and shout about it across social media using #LetGirlsPlay.
