It’s a game-changing year for grassroots sport with the help of the Premier League, The FA and Government’s Football Foundation

The Football Foundation is set to deliver support to grassroots clubs and organisations in a bigger way than ever before – with a full range of funding opportunities.

If you’re looking for new goalposts, or floodlights to shine a light on your brilliant players, a grass pitch that can be used all year round, or a community space that will be welcoming to all, the Football Foundation has got you covered.

In the last 22 years they have awarded more than 72,000 grants worth over £962m across the country - that’s more than 1,000 3G pitches, 10,000 grass pitches and 1,300 changing facilities – and a total project value of £2bn!

During this time we’ve helped clubs across Hertfordshire access more than 1,200 of those grants, bringing close to £19m worth of investment into the game locally, and working with us they have created an action plan which identifies where facilities are most needed so that any future funding can have the maximum impact.
